Assessments vs. Follow-Up Appointments

Please note that all new patients or existing patients who have a new injury or who have not been seen for more than 3 months must book an assessment appointment. You cannot book a 30-minute assessment.

Physiotherapist Fees

Fee Schedule (user fee) for all patients seeing any Physiotherapist at Kamloops Physiotherapy. IMS/Dry Needling and/or neuro-anatomical acupuncture, when provided, is included in the cost of any physiotherapy appointment. No additional fee will be added.

There is no GST or PST for Physiotherapy Services.

Private Fees

  45-minute assessment: $155
  30-minute follow-up: $103
• Vestibular physiotherapy
  60-minute assessment: $206
  30-minute follow-up: $103
• Pelvic health physiotherapy
  60-minute assessment: $206
  30-minute follow-up: $103

WorkSafeBC

There is no fee for WorkSafeBC patients with an accepted claim.

Medical Services Plan

For patients who are eligible for premium assistance through the Medical Services Plan (MSP) of BC. We are able to check whether or not you have coverage through MSP:

• 45 minute appointment – $124.00
• 30 minute appointment – $75.00

Veterans Affairs Canada

There is no fee for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC, formerly DVA) patients who have an accepted claim and confirmed coverage.

ICBC

Kamloops Physiotherapy does not direct bill ICBC for physiotherapy or massage therapy. We are happy to assess and treat you for injuries sustained in a Motor Vehicle Accident but you will be required to pay our private fees (see above for physiotherapy fees and below for massage fees). You will be given a receipt and ICBC should reimburse you for the majority of these fees.

Our kinesiologist is able to direct bill ICBC visits with an approved claim. Be sure to have your claim information when booking your appointment for Kinesiology.

Kinesiologist Fees

Fee schedule for all patients seeing a Kinesiologist at Kamloops Physiotherapy. Fees include GST, and are 1 to 1.

• 45 minute appointment – $95

Registered Massage Therapist Fees

Fee schedule (user fee) for all patients seeing a Registered Massage Therapist at Kamloops Physiotherapy. All fees include GST.

• 60-minute appointment: $133.00
• 60-minute appointment (MSP): $100.00

Direct Billing

We are able to direct-bill to some benefit plans. Please refer to our FAQs page for more information about our ability to direct bill the cost of your visit on your behalf.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required to cancel your appointment. If adequate notice is NOT provided, full visit fees may apply, and you may lose the ability to book future appointments.
