Sue Grono

Kinesiologist • BKin (She/her)

Sue Grono is a registered kinesiologist who has been practicing since 2019, helping people build confidence with movement and exercise. She enjoys building strong connections with clients and making exercise feel accessible, achievable, and appropriate for where each person is starting.

Sue’s clinical strength is creating clear, practical, individualized exercise plans. She works with people based on their goals, their current ability, and their past experience with exercise, rather than assuming everyone needs the same kind of program.

Her approach is supportive, realistic, and patient-centred. Sue focuses on giving people the tools and understanding they need to take control of their recovery with a plan that fits their life. For some people, that may mean rebuilding confidence after injury. For others, it may mean learning how to exercise safely, return to activity, or make movement feel less intimidating.

Sue meets people where they are, listens to what matters to them, and builds plans that feel manageable. The work is practical and goal-based, with enough support to help exercise feel less intimidating and more useful.

Approach to care

Sue makes exercise useful and approachable. She recognizes that people arrive with different histories, comfort levels, injuries, goals, and relationships with movement.

Rather than pushing a generic program, Sue creates plans that meet people where they are. She helps clients understand what they are doing, why it matters, and how the plan connects to their recovery or activity goals.

Her care is also steady and encouraging: Sue helps people feel supported enough to try.

Quick tip

When you're starting a new exercise routine, consistency beats intensity. Start small, build the habit, and then gradually increase the intensity over time.

Outside the clinic

Sue’s time outside work often goes toward gardening, exercising, home projects, and stained glass projects.

Her off-hours are practical and creative, with plenty of hands-on projects.
